Default Msn's possible new algo

This is way out there guys but here gos. About a year and a half to two years ago I got to talk to the top dog concerning Msn's new search engine. I'm a cab driver and I was taking him to the air port in San Diego. I told him that I dabble in Web Sites and told him I thought that Google was stupid with their link back concerns. Who the hell cares if other webmasters like a particular site enough to link back to it. It's the visitor that matters. He look at me with a look of surprise. "Interesting." He replied. "Something to think about." We then arrived at the airport.
Msn Live, what does that mean? When someone installs Messenger Live it has an option that has to do with customer experience, default is on.
Could Msn be checking people computers to see who they are book marking?
And if so how do you buy or even ask for links to your site?
You would actually have to have a site a visitor would want to save, and come back to.

Could I be the reason this has happened? lol

Google has for a long time lost sight of the trees for the forest.
As a webmaster I find my self going to Yahoo and yes even Msn more and more because I can't figure out what key word Google would list a site I'm looking for.

Google has become so concerned with spammers that they have forgot the searcher.

It's like I read in a post somewhere, A webmaster good enough to spam a search engine is good enough to produce a site that will give the visitor a good experience.

Most experienced webmasters know that targeted traffic is gold and that non targeted traffic is like dirty water running down a storm drain, not worth touching.

Sure MSN and Google and Yahoo can track personal behavior now. All three have login areas where users can be tracked for all types of information and I am sure this info is used to produce better search results matched to each user.
