Default Bill Gates

Does anyone else find it odd that Bill Gates annouces he is taking a much smaller role in Microsoft's day to day business right after 06/06/06?

Does he have other "things" to oversee now? :)

He is worth $50B and he and his wife's charity is worth $30B.

Believe it or not, someone that creates a charity that rates as a top philanthropy endeavor in the world, says that the founder has a generous soul and is genuinely concerned about humanity and making the world a better place.

A charity NPO is an enterprise, especially one worth $30 Billion. It must be managed well to be effective.

I think most of us would have cashed in our chips and devoted our lives to what we wanted to do long before being worth $50 Billion!

How about the latest news with Warren Buffet throwing in his chips with Bill Gates Philanthropic venture?

I hope they start at "home".
