Hello,
my small website http://www.artofvenice.com is well positioned on google for my keys, "Murano glass", "venice glass", "art glass gallery", "glass gallery", plus several other easier keys combinations. I pushed to have a good links situation and the result is good for a small company. But, for the same keys, my position is pretty negative on yahoo and msn. I prefer not to do too many experiments and to change too much because I don't want to risk to loose the good google ranking (most important anyway), but I would like to try to improove my position also on the other main search engines. Can you suggest something? Thanks guys. Alex |

I don't want to knock your efforts, but rankings on google seem to be all over the place these days. Webmasters are saying how they are ranked well, and then are downgraded or sometimes disappear altogether.
Something to do with google wanting webmasters to use Adwords? Some may say that, I couldn't possibly comment. It is often mentioned that to rank well on Yahoo and MSN, it is better to have as many backlinks as possible, even if they have very little PR, unlike google. This seems to apply especially to MSN. More backlinks the better. |

tomzo is right, when it comes to MSN and Yahoo!, it's all about links and how many a site has.
