Is anyone getting any traffic from MSN?
I have been getting some awesome SERPs on MSN for some fairly new sites. Problem is that my logs are not snowing any MSN traffic.
One site in particular is a webmaster site. I wonder if most of MSN traffic is still made up of people who don't know how to change the default page on Internet Explorer.

I have a good ranking on MSN (#2, #3, #5 - depending on a keyword phrase). And still, I get only about 10 clicks from MSN

Yes, traffic had picked up on MSN for some of our sites. BTW, anyone else notice MSN is doing a Dance right now. Results are shifting big time over there.

Clicks are starting to trickle in from MSN but not from my webmaster related site. In MSN, www.best-web-directories.com is:
#1: best web directories
#1: best free directories
#3: paid directories
#1: best paid directories
Clicks are coming in from Yahoo and others.
Some of my other sites are getting more clicks without as good SERPs. Does anyone else see a difference in who the average MSN user is?

I noticed I have a #1 ranking on MSN for a particular keyword phrase and #28 for another.
I also noticed that no traffic seems to be coming from MSN. I have checked my logs and stats, and have not noticed any increase in user traffic.
However, over the past few months, MSNBot did "out-spider" Googlebot for a few days according to my stats. But I can say that recently Googlebot has increased it's activity and spidered my site 10 times more than MSNBot has. (This since the full release of the new MSN Search)
I unfortunately did not notice my ranking on MSN before the new release so have nothing to compare it to.
All in all, even though I have no traffic coming from MSN at the moment I have bragging rights for a #1 position on a major search engine. We will see how long this lasts.
Good Luck Guys... "May the Search Be With You."

Best?
I can't think of the last time I used the word "best" in a search. The results I get are usually pretty poor, so that word gets dumped in my searches. Are people searching for that in Google?

Starting to see a little more traffic from MSN, but I can't say that its significant. The results are changing again so maybe things will pick up in the next update. Seems like they are letting in poorer results than a month ago IMHO.

Here some are Wordtracker stats:
web directories 120.0 /day
best web directories 18.0 /day
hot web directories 11.0 /day
Do you know how many free directories there are out there? Hundreds, maybe thousands. The site is still fairly new so the Google traffic is coming from AdWords.
You are probably more of an educated searcher than the norm.

MSN bringing traffic
I have several different sites on different subjects and all were positively effected with MSN change. I have seen quite a bit traffic increase from MSN on all sites. Since all sites have gone through similar SEO path over the last couple years I was not suprise the see similar effect.
Regarding traffic I can surely say one site had picked about 8k additional traffic while the other two got about 2-3k each from MSN only.

I do a fair amount of computer training (with beginners) and I find that many of the MSN users are people who don't know how to use searches at all. There's a lot of users out there that just type searches into the address bar.
I have a number of sites that do fantastic in MSN's searches, but not much resulting traffic.

Currently, I am getting twice as many hits from MSN
as I do from Google. I also get five times the traffic from Yahoo as I do from Google.

We rank in the top ten for bot website design and search engine optimization on MSN.
We get a good amount of traffic per day for those terms from MSN.

MSN? We are No 1, but still nothing no traffic from it
MSN Traffic? - NONE!
www.employireland.com No 1. for about 20 most obvious search phrases.
We are even on the front page for the word - Ireland - and still get miserable traffic from it compared to Google where we do not EXIST in SERP for any keyword, but our own domain name.
