Default Getting More Pages Indexed

I am having a problem getting a lot of pages indexed by MSN. My results, as anticipated are very good, but I can only attain placement for very popular generic keywords.

Most people would not complain about this, however, a large part of our strategy is to target people searching specific products.

To do this, I need more than 2,000 of our 10,000 pages indexed.

Are there any standard techniques for getting more pages indexed in the new MSN and Yahoo alike. (not feeds)

Default Simple strategy

The strategy is simple, really. There are 2 approaches that seem to work.

1) Have patience and they'll get to it eventually.

2) Deep linking from external sources.

Either one takes some time, but that's the best you've got at the moment. They seem to go a bit deeper with every fresh crawl, not the next time it crawls, but every time it starts fresh.

Patience is the key.

Brian.

A site map usually helps with spiders getting to all your pages.

Default getting all pages indexed

The more pages you have, the longer it will take. If you want to speed things up you can do a few things. First get as many incoming links as possible. The higher your link popularity is, the more deeply you will get crawled. Get some links that go to your site map, and any other page that is not indexed. You can also consider submiting to the directories that you are not in. Yahoo, and Dmoz are both good. We have a lot of articles on this type of stuff. You can visit our website too if you like.
