Default Replace MSN as default on my pc

How can I get rid of MSN search on my computer ?

The easiest way to replace the default search engine in IE is to let the engine you'd prefer to use do it for you.

Example: If you'd prefer to search with Google, install the Google toolbar (you can delete it later if you wish), and select its options item from the toolbar. In Options, select the "More" tab and click the item "Use Google as my default search engine in IE".

You can also download this file from Google's page http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html.

Most other search engines offer similar options.

My IE is locked on MSN?! Part for homepage is gray and I cant access it at all. Ive checked everything for spyware, viruses, etc and nothing... Im out of ideas, but too lazy to reinstall it.

Tools > Internet Options > Home Page

in your browser?

You probaby have a customized IE. This can be acheived from the IEAK Kit.

Ive missed this thread, sorry...

Yes, right there, the box where I should write homepage adress is grayed, i cannot change anything there. Ive switched to opera now, and im just delighted with that browser. However, i still need IE for google bar and alexa.
