Default Explained

http://search.msn.com/ is MSN's current search engine. It is powered by Yahoo.

http://www.searchmsn.com/ looks like a PPC search engine and I doubt is is related to MSN or Microsoft.

http://techpreview.search.msn.com/ is MSN's "new" search engine. It is currently in testing and is not ready for prime time. To get into their new SE right now, you will just have to be picked up by one of their spiders. Don't worry about getting in yet or ranking well; it's all going to change.

MSN is busy crawling everything right now, so what may be high today will likely not be tomorrow as stuff gets crawled. If you want in to the "New" MSN, the best thing you can do is get your link in as many different places (and by different I mean as many TLDs) as possible. This will spread your distribution around and increase your odds that MSN will find your link on someone else's site.

Thanks for posting on WebProWorld! I've moved your post to our brand new MSN Search forum, where you can ask questions and get answers about Microsoft's new search technology.

Enjoy!
