I wonder if I've done something wrong... it's been 30 days since I posted my pic for avatarization and all, but I've seen no response. Maybe it's just my n00bocity.

The good news is, I like this one better... forget the other one, it creeps me out, I look like the Joker-ette or some spit.

Gimme a few Jaxxy, thought about this for a few weeks and thought perhaps I was being dense since nobody else was jumping on this. Probably still am dense, but will "avatar" you in a few anyway.

You'd grab any of these you like (links below) then:

1. Click "User CP" here in the forums
2. Click "Edit Avatar" left-side
3. "Use Custom Avatar"
4. "Option 2" [click browse]*
5. "Save Changes"

* Please do not hot-link to my server (option 1)... I don't mind from a bandwidth perspective, but I tend to go through and wipe temporary files on occasion, and in the process would be likely to delete your avatar(s).

Glad it worked out for you! I like stars and hunks of rock well enough. Tend to like mythology more though.

As a more tangible thanks, I have re-written your instructions for you (on my website, I deal with a lot of non-computer-savvy users). I've done it just for fun -- no obligation to use it!

Your Avatar is as good as on the WebProWord Forum -- just a few steps to go!

First, choose your Avatar by clicking through the links below.

When you have chosen your Avatar, download the image to your computer (right-click on the photo itself, and choose "Save Picture As"), saving it to a folder from which you can easily upload it again.

Then:
1. Click the "User CP" tab on any Forum page to proceed to your User Control Panel;
2. Click the "Edit Avatar" option found on the left-hand side of the Control Panel;
3. Tick the "Use Custom Avatar" box on the "Edit Avatar" screen;
4. Upload your Avatar! ***Ignore "Option 1" and proceed with "Option 2";
5. Locate the Avatar image saved to your computer via the "Browse" button;
6. Hit the last button -- "Save Changes"! -- and you won't have to start all over again.

***Please do NOT choose "Option 1" and hotlink to your Avatar image on my server! The uploading method, "Option 2", is required in order to avoid the accidental loss of your data. (I often wipe my temporary files, and might end up deleting your Avatar in the process.)
