Think I've figured this one out.. the image wasn't in the public_html folder.

Can't figure out why the original image was not displaying ... I double checked the link and made sure the image was in the public_html/img folder. Anyway, thanks for the assistance.

More than likely the image was stored in your public_html folder.. but if it's a folder on a shared server it's probably been configured to ignore the full server path and to supply something like www.yourdomain.com/img/yourwebproimage.jpg

You were right on the money there Paul. I took out the reference to 'public_html' in the link string ... and Bingo!
