Link exchange code ?

Is there a simple code/script to use to give others to link to your site or do we just put the url link on our page? I have a few where they gave me a code whick of course included an image. To link to my own pages I just put the url link on pages.

I have several sites related to offering both free and for sale eBooks to download in many categories and also a Children Photo ID Card site if anyone is interested in doing a link exchange!

I to believe that sharing with others does not hurt your business but strengthen it in the long run...

I Mr Bill, is your site new?
Have you submitted your site to search engines?
I ran a basic link popularity check that checks, AllTheWeb, AltaVista, HotBot/Google, HotBot/Inktomi and MSN Search engines, and found 0 across the board.
I don’t mind adding sites into my link area, but I would prefer that they have some listing with search engines.
I think you should be strait up front when offering to do link exchanges. Are you going to just list URL’s?
Do you allow “title” or “description” or “pictures?”
I may not have answered your question directly, but I think if you want link partners, these issues will need to be addressed.

Thanks for the input- Yes , all my sites have been submitted to most search engines - Most are only a month or two old - keywords: ebooks, books, free books, etc...

On Google search, Blake Publishing comes up on first page under "Blake Publishing" and my new site:
www.free-books.net seems to be getting requests quickly a day after I launched it - must be the word "free" in the domain name?? I got emails from Turkey, India, Mexico -----

The main site of ebooksfast has many quality ebooks for many categories not found everywhere so with more promotion it should do well...
