Default Content, Content, Content

Ok, let us say that a person has bought into the thought that a good email, ezine, newsletter is the way to market their site and/or product. (I believe)

So the person has built the site, designed how they are going to manage the list of email address and have the layout for the publication they are going to send to the masses. They sit down to create and realize they have no content or worse, writers block.

Now on the other side of the street, town, state or country is a person who can write all day long, and people want to read it.

Now the question:

Where are the best or better places on the internet for these people to get together?

I hope this question is not to basic and am always grateful for help and input!

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,
I'm not sure, what you are looking for.

Are you looking for general copy writing sources or copy writing market places?

Are you looking for writing gigs?

Are you looking for people that could write for you / your site / your product? What product is it?

Sorry that I can't be of more help at this point.

Tim ..

Well, if the person -whom, let's call the "CCM" (Content-Challenged-Marketer- was really wanting to use the medium (electronic communication) for maximum exposure - our "CCM", would NOT be using ONLY email.

The "CCM" would instead be using multiple levels of RSS (Really Simple Syndication) + email + old fashioned 'active network marketing'; conducted as much VF2F (virtual Face2Face) as F2F (Face2Face).

The "CCM" would be:

1) Writing a DAILY (not occassional) BLOG;
NOTE: remember blogs are NOT ment to be discertations - only short snippets offering quick-bites of useful info -while providing tantelizing tidbits of what the writer (aka Marketer) wants the reader (aka Client) to think on: always connected to the end-game: SALE of Product or Service;
2) "CCM"s Blog would be embedded with a RSS subscription button on each page of the Blog;
3) "CCM" would have RSS subscription buttons embedded in each market-strategy-specific page in their website;
4) "CCM" would be targeting their email with a 'Permission Marketing' approach of drawing the targets TO the BLOG - and then TO the Web site -> and thus the Target Product or Service.
5) That done, the "CCM" would conduct an on-line search for WiKis, phpBB and other format-forums and Blogs that cover the same or complementary topics as their 'product/service' -> JOIN and PARTICIPATE in those arenas.

NOTE: Our "CCM" would not hang-around-and-harvest the other participants of these above mentioned venues, but would actually participate themselves and provide quality information to the group(s). The quality of the "CCM"s participation will be directly proportional to the number of fellow participants responding to their efforts and to the building of professional relationships as a result.

This is 'active network marketing' at its richest. The cost is minimal - in financial terms - but the rewards are grand in both human and financial terms.

Trust-building is vital in business. Trust IS what brings customers (people) to do REPEAT Business, and REPEAT Business IS what keeps businesses alive! The technology is a tool for 'rapid development' of this process.

NOTE: The process CAN NEVER (read, MUST NEVER) be 'short-circuited' and hope to be/remain successful.

Following this format the "CCM" will likely contact, not only the 'waiting-in-anticipation-to-be-found' "CWM" (Content Writing Marketer) .. but a whole gaggle of them. Along the way the "CCM" will gain clients to read the collaborative work developed by the "CCM" and "CWM". And most likely the "CCM" will get the work of the "CWM" and all the "CWM"s associates for developing the 'container(s)' -needed for all the content they can or will develop.

That's how it's done each and every day: successfully. The numbers are growing, too. End of story .. or Beginning - whichever way you want to view it. I like Beginning - myself.
