High PR finacial sites link swap

I'm only looking for financial sites to do honest link swaps with so if your site is not financial please dont ask me to swap links.

Dont offer to swap if your sites links pages are so far off the index page the pr is next to nothing or if you have more then 40 links per page.

This is only for financial related sites that don't cheat with their links and have at least an index page pr of 4 or higher.

Perhaps someone could explain the logic behind this strategy to me.
Why would a financial site wants to exchange kinks with other financial sites only? Surely this would only promote your competitors?
It seems to me, to be more logical to link with sites that would serve your visitors? i.e. related sites - and not necessary financial. For instance, if you do mortgages you might want to link to conveyancing lawyers. Seems to make more sense to me than promoting the services of your financial competitors.
