Well... When I first started 3D Magical Designs, its main market was 3d Architectural Business but I have driven the website purpose to Website Development entirely. I used to have the Web development section inside a folder on my website but I moved the website design look and products to the home page. These are the following Strategies I am using:
* Blog Marketing ( Working nice, in less than 2 months my website has climbed on Google from nowhere to the position 295 by the keywords custom website design, last week I was on the 410 position so I know we will keep improving our
SEO
* Directories Submission ( Showing average results, it is driving traffic to the site, I used to have 2000 visitors monthly, now I have reached 6000 with the last month report)
* Networking ( it works a traffic driver, good results)
* Freelance Communities ( I work with Elance, It is good because you can get about 5 to 10 projects monthly from it but you need to work for low fees.
* Email Marketing ( Just started the campaign, I will be able to talk about the results in about two weeks.
My Marketing Strategies are driving good traffic and profits to my website, although I am still expanding and growing, the only thing I can say is that they do work , all you need is patience and a lot of efforts.
