Default Monetizing e-letters

How can I monetize e-letters by placing ads?

I do not have the means to market and build the ad inventory myself.
Do Yahoo, MSN/Bing or other companies offer programs that let e-letter publishers earn an income by placing third-party ads?

Wondering if some one can help me with this?
Just thought would ask again since I have not any reply for nearly 10 days.

I think most people just link to affiliate programs in newsletters and those affiliate program usually have banners you can use that are premade. Is that what you mean?

With affiliate banners, I think the e-letter sender will earn money when e-letter recipients purchase products or services by clicking the affiliate’s banner.

What I am referring is somewhat different. I am asking if any company offers a program that allows ads to be included in the e-letter and in return, the e-letter sender is paid based on the size of the list, open rate, clicks, etc.

This is somewhat conceptually similar to Google's AdSense where one uses Google's Ad inventory to monetize web pages. My question is can one do the same with e-letters?

It will be easy to do this if Google allowed AdSense ads to be included in e-letters. But from what I gather, this privilege is available only for Premium AdSense Accounts, not regular accounts. Hence my question.
