Question Best Forum Posting Service?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can give me their suggestions / opinions on a good Paid Forum Posting company. We are looking for people to possibly add content in a forum of ours. Thanks.

The best place to look for a company to do this is at GetAFreelancer Just post a job describing what you need and you will have MANY to choose from. Check their ratings tho. They will be cheap.

If you're looking for quality post you'll need real users, paid posting will not help you longer.

As Dave asked: what is the genre.

That said, I have tried most forum posting places out there, and the thing we have found is they all share one common denominator: piss poor quality posts.

Freelance places, all you are liable to get is a bunch of people who speak (and type) english as a second or third language and their posts will reflect that, don't waste your time or money.

If you are going to go paid posts, find good writers who already write articles in your genre, and hire THEM to post to your forum, assuming you want your moneys worth in quality posts and replies.

Stick to quality and you will prosper.

huh. I have been doing some research on a local (NW Queensland) river couch - I am gradually digging out the buffalo grass clumps that have overrun the gardens here over the last ten years. It is hot and dry here and the summer months the temperature can hit 0ver 45 celsius on a regular basis. We have two local couch grasses.

I would not be surprised If you find several contributors. grass is extremely interesting. Luckily I live on the Leichhardt river and although we have a hot dry climate. I have no problems with water sprinklers for my lawns.

The main problem here is during the wet season the ground gets saturated for many weeks in hot weather and the lawn is plagued by deeper rooted weeds, and of course the local bindies.

drop me a message where your forum will be (or is) is. I am interested in grass specific weed killers. I basically use a broad leaf killer but I am interested in something that will kill the buffalo and other local grasses, terpentine, etc but be harmless to the couch.

I have a lot of grass, I devote an hour a day to it.

I have made my first post. . I am not entirely sure that me and my lawn fit comfortably there. but I am a blustery sort of guy so I expect I can elbow enough room. .

I run an Outback Hotel in a very isolated area, (currently closed due to personal pigheadedness - open again probably mid winter) when I first arrived at this place a bit over two years ago I told the locals I intended to be able to walk to the outside showers in my bare feet. . I was laughed at. the locals called the pathway the bindi factory.

Your forum does have some inhibiting factors for members. I expect being a new forum these will get sorted out.
I will enjoy making posts - maybe creating some sort of record of my garden upgrade over the next couple of years. As I write this post I just suddenly have a twinge of regret for not getting a 'Before' picture. (I like before and after pics) That could be a nice 'topic'

You might need some sort of regional seperation (later stage). Members should be able to work out where you are located. .

haha, been the same with my experiences also. Seems like people will do the bare minimum to complete projects and even then the quality of them is insanely low. Wonder what would be a good way to get content writers with skills that need some $$, where you won't go broke...I saw someone suggest elsewhere they contact college students to write unique content for them, which I thought was a great idea, but aren't they busy writing papers and don't want to be bothered? There has to be a way to leverage content creators outside of cheap labor that sucks.

Kinda off topic, but maybe not...
However, didn't feeco's opening question refer to PAID forum posting -- which sure is a puzzler to me. I've never run across or heard of a PAID forum.
Yes? No?

Duncan, paid forum posting = paying people to post on your own forum.. We have paid people to post on our own forums in the past in an effort to jump start them.. We've had very minimal success with it, but it can help get a blank forum started and make it seem more inviting to people reading but not posting..

I've found that WAHMs (Work At Home Moms) are great for this.. They write real posts and generally only take jobs in areas that interest them.. Some even stick around even after you stop paying them..

Agreed, WAHM's rock at this. We tried all the other routes, indians, paid services, etc. to no avail really. Garbage in, garbage out. The moms tho were 1000% better in the end result.

Selection of the forums depends upon the related product or service you are most interested in. the posted content should be relevant and interesting. You may get many people to post content who are working as freelancers.

Thank you for your replies. I have contacted two companies about this and one is posting on our forum already. The other one I am waiting to hear from and get started because I already paid for the service. I purchased about 1 month worth of posts and will follow up with a post after we have completed the one month and let you know our results...

If you hire someone to post in forums and promote your site/brand and they come across as uninformed and unprofessional, you're essentially paying to drive your reputation into the ground.

Is the minimal success that you could possibly derive from such a tactic worth that kind of risk? Not to me.

Keep in mind that forum threads can stick around in SERPs for a long time. One embarrassing posts by some hired gun dragging your name through the dirt can have lasting affects.

Hi,
if you want to hire some forum posters and you want quality posts then you have to spend more than 1$ for 10 posts. I had worked as a paid forum poster and I was being paid 15 (U.S) cents per post. If the poster is sincere then he will work with full confidence and efficiency. Now you can look forward to it and take the decision.

I like what William said. Find writers who are already writing in that niche. There are lots of starving writers out there. Maybe there are writing forums where you can find talented writers who could even learn your niche. You have to think out of the box.

The paid forum posting would not be helpful in the long run. It may give you a quick start but inorder to be in the business, you need to get continuous flow of traffic.

If you want to speed up then a quick start is also necessary for a particular forum, it may be of any niche. The continuous flow of traffic starts with good and valuable information for the visitors. Once the visitor finds good content in the site, it becomes his habit to visit again and again. He may refer it to someone else also.

I too agree with this point. But can one get the real sense of naturality in paid posts?

You are right, my friend but how many of us have the time to judge the naturality of a particular post. If it is providing us the needed information then we read and follow it, otherwise we just neglect it by just going through the heading of it.

Some clients pay not for per post on a forum. Instead they pay for posts that contain a link back to their site. There are many forums that never allow us to post links or signature links in the message. Here the only way is to check the profile of the forum member.

I never would have believed there could even be such a thing as a Forum Posting Service but in the upside down world of the internet, what else is new? It wouldn't be an industry that has matured, one could guess, so choosing a 'best of' might be pretty hard.

At any event, I can see now why WPW and other boards have their hands full. What next?

I would never choose freelancers for this. Poor, poor service. (dare I say it - in everything they do... just my experience). I haven`t tried WAHM`s, but I believe this can be a good idea.

Maybe to hire someone you know? Some student? Friends? Friends`kids? just someone you know and can trust?
