How Many Hours Daily Do You Spend Marketing

I spend about 4-8 daily how many hours do you guys spend?

Only About 1-4 hours. But i don't do daily.

It is very difficult to say the amount of hours that I spend marketing my site daily, sometimes I spend 8 hours, sometimes 10, sometimes 1 hour, this week I haven't been able to spend more than 1 daily since I've been to busy trying to finish a lot of things that I need to deliver.

I think that to be constant with your own web marketing you need to hire a person who can perform repeated actions like search for friends in social media, send emails, share your blog, etc.

The writing stuff needs to be handled personally or having a copy writer.

I spend the bulk of my day marketing. I would say 6-8 hours per day on a regular basis. I rotate through a series of websites that we own, so that effort is not focussed all on the same website.

It depends on what you call marketing!! Responding to enquiry emails is marketing, SEO is marketing, keeping websites up to date is marketing. I don't spend much time comment posting, article writing etc, but I do spend time on twitter as I see results from that. Link building, gosh, maybe 1/2 day every month (an over-rated activity in my mind).

Overall - 6 hours daily, I run several sites, but most is spent on one site (caricatures)

It depends upon the requirements and marketing strategies. But if it is don’t properly, only one hour or two hrs are sufficient, tough it doesn’t have any limit.

Marketing needs your involvement at every step, internet has made our life easy but still the need of marketing is there. Maketing is always a special and essential step taken towards the growth of the company, its face is changed but the ultimate aim is customer satisfaction. It is the marketing that helps you to satisfy the customers. I usually spend 3-5 hours for the marketing purpose, it suits me and give me time to perform other tasks also.

It all depends on a number of issues. If you are selling a service where there are a number of competitors, you have to spend more time in marketing products otherwise you would be able to make any difference in the long run.

That's so true. I've spent the last month preparing my site for launching and finally - bleary eyed..it was launched Aug. 1. I know what you mean though because you get totally devoted to the whole project and sleep is hard to come by.

Now for the marketing end...which I predict will be even more time consuming.

I'm blogging about my marketing efforts for 30 days...complete with cpanel visitor stats.

I really don't think that marketing is about logging the number of hours you spend doing something. It's all about what you do in the time that is given to you. If your time is spent efficiently, doing things that count, then at the end of the day you can answer the age old question - Did I do my best with what the knowledge that I have and the skills that I have.

Totally depends. Sometimes it goes upto even 16 hrs a day with a minimum of 8 hrs..The amount of hours spent totally depends on the amount of workload for that particular day.
