Large amount of backward links???

I’m wondering how people manage generate 6000-10000 backward links on google. I’m talking about small businesses, not large corporate sites. I spend few ours by sending emails with link exchange request to 20 sites. The most 1 or 2 sites out of 20 put back link to my site. To reach at least 1000 of backward links on google, will probably take me a few years. I think there should be quicker way to achieve large amount of backward links. Any suggestions?

These numbers are not a result of manual work :) You get large numbers when have a backward links placed on every subpage of a large website. When there are 100's or 1000's of subpages, number of links increases greatly.

It can take quite some time to get hundreds or even thousands of links. I found that you have to work very hard at first to get at least 100 sites linked to you, but then, little by little, requests start coming to you because other people found you listed on other sites.


I took a quick look at your sites and the only recommendation I would make is to provide reciprocal link information that the visiting webmaster can just copy and paste. By keeping things very simple and you will get more requests.

I currently get between 3 and 6 link requests EVERY SINGLE DAY. I had gotten busy earlier this month and hadn't checked the requests for over two weeks and there were over 50 requests waiting for me.

the bottom line is that you have to get the ball rolling first...and it will take time...and link farms are not the answer...consistant and solid dedication is the only thing that will put you on top.
