The one problem is it can take a while for an article to get approved. But its well worth the wait. Out of the following list, how many are dofollow ones? Is it necessary to submit an article that uses nofollow tag with them?

When submitting to articles directories, be careful about the duplicate content issue. You don't want your original page to end up in the supplemental index (assuming that you also post the article on your own website).

Here's what you can do:
- post the article first on your website and wait for the spiders to crawl it first before posting it again on the articles website
- do include a back-link to the site's article page in the article posted (it's a good way of telling the SEs "hey, look for the original over there")

The majority of the big article directories do not have Nofollow tags on the links in the articles or resource boxes.

If they had nofollow's, people would not use them, so they would not be big article directories anyhow.

Yeah ezinearticles is the best article site I do get lot of referring traffic on that site.

Agree about ezinearticles and backlinks. But i think the links with goarticles are no follow.

If you are after traffic the best way to go is keep the content on your own website. Guaranteed 100% conversion because they have to be there to read it. Submitting to directories is great, but most of the time the traffic is minimal. It's good to help build relevant links however....I'm sure like any other network if you are a power author you will receive regular traffic.

Enzine articles has a very high Google page rank, but I also like to use Article Dashboard and Go Articles. Most sites allow your article to be published somewhere else. I highly suggest posting your article on a lot of article directories.

I used to have great results with Ezines, but noticed something changed lately. I am working in many different niches, and ezines traffic dropped for all of them. I looked up Alexa, but they show that Ezines rank went up. So no idea what`s happening, but might be that more and more traffic is made by authors (Alexa shows that members pages are being viewed over 40% - something to keep in mind).
