Default How can I market my websight and save money?

I'm new in the business, but not new to computering.
I have three new websites and I need to market them intensely. They are getting lots of hits daily, but none that provide revenue. What am I not doing; that I should be doing?

Hi showme26,
To start with you need to get a really nice logo for your site. Add a mouse over effect to your nav bars and some color to your site. If your getting hits but no sales you need to make sure your hits are people looking for your product. Where are your hits coming from and at the same time make sure your website is set up to sale. Add some pictures of your best products to your home page.

I went to Hedd Wholesale, which is the site you were asking about, I presume...
First, your colors are very bland.... you can go to the following site for an article written on the pschology of colors in a web site...
www.templatesresource.com
and click on article.

Second, your site is HUGE..... I was viewing it on a resultion of 1024 X 768 and I was only able to see about 2/3 of your site... someone viewing it on 800 X 600 would not even be able to see 1/2 your page..
If people have to scroll, they get discouraged and frustrated... and that's scrollin down... I would never remain at a site where I have to continually scroll from side to side to see everything.
One of the tips I got at another forum, is that most people are still viewing at 800 X 600 resolution and that websites should be designed to accomadate that size.

I also went to the wholesale website. Your color scheme leaves a lot to be desired. I had a hard time reading the menu, orange on a dark background. Also, the font is small.

When I click on a catagory, the pictures are really tiny, and when I click on a description, the picture is larger, but still not large enough to really get a feel for the item.

my 2 cents
