What is your Blog Goal?

All these days i have been hearing only one thing from a blogger (am not talking about corporate blogger), that is make money out of blogging? I am sure there are lot of purposes and goals to set and achieve (and money is one among them)

What are your blog goals and purposes other than making money?

As I am doing blogging from last some time and successfully running my 7 blogs. From that time i am having only one goal and that is Money. And I think every blogger doing it for money yeh some blogger doing for their own satisfaction and social responsibility of social work...
But mine is money only...

The propose of corporate blog is to communicate internally and with the clients. For mid size company it is good tools to drive traffic, content promotion and building links.

There can be many reasons for blogging other than just earning more from it; for most people and for award-winning blog sites, blogging is a venue for exchange of thoughts for people around the globe, erasing the boundaries of geography and cultural upbringing. You can derive valuable info from these sites and also express your views without fear of being reprimanded or scorned.

I have some blogs whose main purpose is to earn money and to drive traffic to my sites. But I have also some blogs that I share with friends, its main goal is to share thoughts and memories and pictures with them.

My Croatian blog is for building me a brand of my name as a freelancer in my country and it did a good job so I'd say it fulfilled it's purpose.

My English blog however is for making money xD

My goal is to drive traffic from my blog to the site that I'm optimizing.

I find that my blog is a great way to present my past work, recommendations and offers to my current list. So even products/services from 2 or 3 years ago often get seen. The longer you've been online, and the more in your product/service inventory, the more valuable it becomes.
