Marketing for eyeballs and SEO

So I am looking to spread the word about my company. I've setup decent squidoo lens
Protecting your TV from Kids, Toys, Splashes, Wiimotes, etc., do search engine and
content network advertising on the big 3, issue press releases, get sites to write articles
about our product, run a blog, and participate in relavent forums with a signature. What
other recommendations do ya'll have? My Space? Facebook? Social Media Marketing? Ebay?
Whats the best bang for my time these days, SEO and consumer wise? Is it really worth the
time to get listed in directories anymore from an SEO POV? Anyone have a master list of
directories? Can I exploit our blog somehow to increase IBL's?

The biggest problem with our product is people don't know they need it or it exists until an
accident happens. We need to create the market.
