Default MySpace getting a facelift

Myspace will be redesigning the site over the next six months in hopes of turning a profit with it.

The problem is that most people that spend time on social networking sites are banner blind. They are able to totally ignore all forms of advertising and it makes it hard for the guys spending money on ads to make a profit.

They haven't figured it out yet.

my space is really starting to get associated with SPAM. More younger and younger users are flooding to it while I believe the older crowd that has a clue about linking and marketing are leaving.

I rarely use MySpace any more, too much SPAM, too many flashing banners and widgets... just no fun.

They are dropping fast and I am sure it is the main reason for the changes. I think the same article says that Facebook tied them this month for users or something like that.

It might be to late to save themselves unless they come out with some pretty cool tools.

Also they should minimize the forced ads on user pages.
