A few years back I joined PrePaid Legal as just a member because I needed low cost legal advice for my freelancing business. I have been VERY impressed and believe everyone should be covered by PrePaid Legal. So I decided to sell it.
At first I tried all the tactics they tell you to. "Hand out cards" "Talk to everyone you know". None of these things worked. So I went back to basics and worked it from what I had learned years ago; let the customer come to you! I call it the "vacuum cleaner salesperson method". You've probably seen it. You see a card saying "Enter to win a free room cleaning". So you fill in your name and phone number and put it in a box. Well of course you get a phone call that you have "WON!" You set up an appointment and the person hauls in the "cleaning system" (don't EVEN call it a vacuum cleaner ... it is soooo much more) and they clean a room, maybe more ALL the while telling you about the product. They make a lot of sales with this technique. So instead of chasing people trying to get them to just look at your product (door to door style) I went looking in places where people were discussing their legal needs and posted my opinion with a "check this out" type of link to a PrePaid Legal site. Suddenly my sales exploded! Why? Because NOW I was getting people who were already looking for the product but just didn't know it. This is the basic lesson for all affiliates. Find a way to bring people to you already interested and you will do far far better than sending out a billion emails or posting PPC ads. Just as an aside, PrePaid Legal is a VERY lucrative program to be involved in. Just follow those links if you are interested.

Well, I've tried just about all of them online. I can tell you that affiliate marketing is actually a waste of time IF you are looking for residual type income. As much as people hate to believe it, you have to get into something like Mulit Level Marketing to make the real money "on auto-pilot". But even then it takes years of work to get to the point that you can relax a little or quit your normal job.
However, things like QuickStar (formally Amway) and such are so loaded with people that you will NEVER get very far. Whereas with PrePaid Legal, the field is still wide open. With other affiiate programs like Clickbank, it is too much work for too little return. There are many many out there and there is only 1 other 1 I've ever found that made decent money. But PrePaid Legal whups them all. If you are interested, follow the link in my first post and check out the video. Any questions you can always email me or even call me. My phone number is on my PPL website.
