Need Advice On Jump Starting Forum

Hi,

Does anyone have any ideas for getting a forum off the ground. It seems nobody wants to post in an empty forum. I've created a few threads with my email accounts and couple as the administrator.

Any thoughts?

I never bought it, so can't tell anything about it. But if you buy, let me know whether its good.

Before running successful and busy forum, you must have good opt-in list members, great advertising skills and good reputation in that topic (business, vacation etc.).

About taking off ground the forum:
-You can use several usernames and ask and asnwer questions yourself on your forum, before it is really active.
-Another way is to call your friends to particpiate actively at the beginning.
-And the most important: On all forums index page there is the number of forum members. Most people look at there and if the members of that forum are thousands or more people join. So you can create several username yourselves and writing and immitating the forum members number there. People will join thinking that this forum is active enough and it is worth to join this forum.
