Dell Company Information

Hi,

I'm looking for company information on Dell: financial, statistical, new brick/mortar locations, for a school project. I have to prepare a 5yr business plan and a short term marketing plan for next week. There isn't much information on Dell's website and when i called them, I didn't recieve much help; i couldn't talk to the right people.

1. If someone could point me to a few urls that contain such information, this would be a huge help.

2. Also, i'm using PaloAlto's Business and Marketing Plan pro software. Is this software widely used or are there better marketing and business plan templates freely distributed.

3. What kind of marketing are they doing? Offline/online???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Ideas: What do you think?
I need to conceive new ideas for business growth and opportunity.
(1) I don't like their website, so I think they should update it, thus stimulating new interest.
(2) The brand has a low-end ring to it. I think Dell should re-brand, re-design comp. shells and raise the RSP of all product. This would increase the perceived value of the brand and keep them away from an asset turnover type model.

Dell Corporate Media Relations may be a good starting point. You can call them at (512) 728-4100. Also, you should be able to find most of the information you are looking for by going to dell.com, and clicking "About Us" in the page footer, which will take you to their corporate information site. They have marketing, press and business information there.
