Article Submission Software - can I get the real scoop?

Hello all,

I'm looking into purchasing automated article submission software. I've been reading that some of them work very well, however, it seems very difficult to obtain unbiased reviews on the web (most are affiliate links).

Could I please get the "real" scoop on this from those of you who have experience with them? Do they work well?

It would save me a lot of trouble (rather than manually submitting) - however, I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
