Default screensaver traffic generator?

I was sent an e-mail telling me how fantastic this "screensaver traffic generator" was. I am as ever the sceptic so I had a look at it to see how this marketing wonder works, you download the programme and every time your screen saver comes on you are directing people to you from other websites who also have their sceensavers on (probably because they are not at their computers!) they ask you to pass the link on to 10 friends to multiply your traffic even more! could it be the new way to advertise? or is it just one of those "Pyramid" or "chain" scams? Has anyone else come across this or signed up? Does it work? Thanks in advance, Paul.

Hi,

I've had a look at the site and yes, the word pyramid springs to mind. Although they say that say you can choose the catagory you go into, I will bet that you get zero targeted traffic as advertised on the FAQ.

IMO you shouldn't waste your time with these sorts of companies.

PS your www link on profile doesn't work.
PPS I like broadstairs too. (Lived there for the last 5 years!!)
