I have domain name which is Websitequote.com
I am kicking around some ideas for it . None are very original.

(1) Make a directory of web designers
(2) Make a directory of business services that consumers usually need quotes for i.e. insurance, travel, real estate, event tickets
(3) Business to Business directory
(4) Maybe an some kind of site tracking of who said what and where?
(5) Blog of product reviews? I am running low

Currently I just have some PPC going to a landing page for a couple of web design terms. In my opinion the domain name is one that you should be able to brand.

What would you do?

I think 2 is going to be the most profitable for you. You can make it a mecca of marketing and ad links to various affiliate programs for mortgages, hotels, airfare, insurance, etc. Progressive's big schtick is being able to compare quotes from up to three competitors. LendingTree.com's tag line is "When banks compete, you win". Simply being able to comparison shop just about anything would be great: Place amazon.com products next to the same (or similar) walmart.com items, etc.

Before it becomes a mecca of advertising its going to be an oasis in the desert. I'd say make it a directory first and if it grabs any substantial traffic, then try to seriously monetize it.

Why not use it for all 5 things? Have the main page be a text link to 5 other pages. Each text link will have about 2 sentences describing it with hot keywords, and then all 5 pages will act as their own sites. I see this making a lot of money

I think that's a really good idea. It might take some time to pull it all together.

Right now there is not a lot of content so I am only getting first page results in google for
