I like many others, including my own mother and her fledgling business, have been taken by PRT and it's cronies. They charged us $2400 for bogus advertising with traffic that doesn't visit the web page for more than 2 seconds on average.

We have tried to contact them countless times for a refund as they clearly have not met with their agreement, which included a refund guarantee, and no calls have been returned legitimately save for a few e-mails claiming to have attempted to contact my mother who is at home working 24/7, by the phone.

We would like to add our hand in this class action, please PM me with more information so I know where to go from here.

I have a bad feeling that PRT may try to re-bill us soon as well and it will turn into near identity theft issues if this "Vicky" episode was any sign.

What is their website hosting information? Anyone have that? We could possibly get them shut down via their webhost by posting to consumerist.com that, that webhost works with internet and phone fraud companies.

Here's some of the scathing commentary from the BBB regarding our "Friends" at Portal Response:

"Complainants allege the company fails to fulfill their contractual obligations, fails to honor their money back guarantee, and fails to provide refunds. Customers complain the company verbally misrepresents the terms of their contract, and that contract clauses concerning services provided, and the company’s money back guarantee are deceptively worded or misleading. In some cases, complainants report that the company falsifies traffic reports, or, that they were led to believe that the keywords they purchased would result in a specific number of customer hits on their website. Most complainants request refunds....

On November 15, 2007, we wrote to this company requesting that they provide an explanation as to why their website advertising is nearly identical, they list the same clients, and perform the same services as that of another company called "One Top Firm." Various other internet websites or blogs also associate these two companies. One Top Firm has also earned an F rating with the BBB based on failure to respond to customer complaints, and the seriousness of the complainant’s allegations. A separate report is available upon request.

To date, the company has failed to provide the requested information."

Just a little insight as to how these guys drive those numbers to your site and make the traffic reports look so pretty...... they use a service called TrafficTaxi.com, which is where a portion of the money we have spent on their advertising is spent, and they select how many hits they want based on each key word.... I hope this helps with your case.

I interviewed for an SEO/SEM sales position with these guys called creativemmg.com, advertising they were looking for sales people. The so called Director said his name was Warren Allan, but I later learned his name was Warren Allan Wise and the company operates out of Glendale. Total fast talking scam artists which I believe to be affiliated with PRT etc.

It's address is exactly the same as Portal Response
It's business offices are located at the same address as previously appeared on PRT's website.

Both PRT and Creative Minds are OUT OF BUSINESS, and have been for some time.

Eric Jarrett and Charles Lloyd are barely hanging on with their respective scams at onlinebannerads and search direct media.
