Email Marketing campaign

Hi,

I want to set up email marketing campaigns for our travel company... ie newsletter, special offers etc. I have a segmented opt-in database. We are looking for an online solution to easily create, send, and track email newsletters, RSS feeds, surveys, and autoresponders. Bascially to manage the email campaigns. I have seen

I have started using Mailchimp at http://mailchimp.com/ and they have been great. They are very easy to use, not expensive, and have a good deliverability rate. I have tried others, and this seems to be the best.

We have been using www.lmhsoft.com/ which is very easy to use and helps you manage your lists for bounced and unsubscribe.
I think it cost us about 100$ at the time.

I would also recommend the new Office 2007 which has a very easy to use Mail Merge now which could do everything for you.

You should not use Microsoft Outlook for any email marketing! Particularly if you are using HTML messages.

Microsoft Outlook, because it uses Word as its editor, will insert all kinds of nonsense code into your HTML. It will not render correctly in many ISPs.

Now, if you are sending plaintext, I suppose Outlook would suffice - only if your recipient list is very small. ISPs will begin blocking your IP Address, and managing unsubscribes is much more difficult (as a manual process).

Seriously consider an email marketing tool (like I said, Fathom SEO is great!) for any kind of email marketing.

It also has a free trial version for 1 month for upto 100 emails and is priced fairly reasonable.

Constant Contact is very good. 60 day free trial as long as you stay below 100 members on your list. I've been very pleased with it. And if you really get frisky you can do a lot with custom templates and other API type stuff.

there are lots of good help out there for this subject but i wouls say a really good one would be to do tests.

I guess you have to have bigger lists but it does help to split your lists up into groups and test differnet messages on one group and another message to another group....findout which one works (converts well) then email that to the rest of the list bulk.

I recommend Aweber above the others.

I tried Constant Contact out but I though Aweber was leagues better.

I think there's nothing compared to make an Email Marketing Campaing WITHOUT PAYING A DIME.. don't u think?
