marketing during the holidays??

has anyone been successful to market during the holidays? either selling physical goods via ebay or ecommerce or any digital products. Since some or more customers look to local stores to buy their christmas gifts and presents.

I want to try something with affiliates, but I do not see anything hopeful

just want to know anyones outcome tryin to market during the holidays has been successful(any marketing, selling physical or digital products etc)

Last year at this time there were more sales made online then offline.

This is the big time of the year for a lot of people.
