The Great Houston Partnership came out with the Strategic Plan in the year 2005, after re-examining the organizations direction. The Strategic Plan listed the ways and strategies of achieving the goals set by the Partnership. The plan compiles a step-by-step process towards the accomplishment of the objectives of the Partnership. The first part of the plan includes the Mission which talks of the Mission statement, the Mission focus, Mission Directives (1 & 2).
The second part of the Strategic Plan includes the Vision i.e. where the partnership visualizes itself, 10 year down the line. The Partnership’s first Vision is to retain the status of Houston as a ‘Business Magnet’. Secondly, it would facilitate initiatives to establish Houston as a Gateway to the Global Markets. Thirdly, it would act to build and maintain and infrastructure and business environment that sets Houston apart from the rest.
