I don't think I need to expound on the importance of search marketing to anybody in this forum, but this study was interesting for trend analysis.

77% of Consumer Electronic purchases, online or offline, were influenced by online research.

The days of the window shopper are over as people take to the computer to do their comparisons.

Also, searchers are more likely to spread the word about products via word of mouth. Online CE researchers are also 114% more likely to click on a display ad.

That means presence is important. Having your brand present during this process is critical.
