Press Releases don't do much good unless you put some capital behind them, even at PRWeb. We recommend that our clients go with the $200 level minimum with every press release to get the SE impact they are looking for.
Let's all understand that Press Releases are a metered service with greater value attached along the money stack now! You can do free press releases until you are blue in the face, but you might as well be hyperventilating into a brown paper sack. PRWeb is my favorite also. We find great value at the $200 mark there. More about Press Release Writing. Ken |

Ken is right on regarding getting optimum results at the $200+ level with PRWeb (and it's STILL loads more affordable than the other newswires, and WAY more visible in the online space).
You get a fully optimized, front-page of PRWeb release at $200. you also get a free Podcast (with the appropriate links, iTunes and other audio feeds, and social media tagging). And every SEO feature PRWeb provides. And if you're smart, you'll also leverage your attachments and embedded links, the iFrame portion of the preview page (as more of a landing page), PRWebPhotowire.com (for larger, print ready images, also tagged and capable of embedded links) and RSSPad, to add RSS to your web site content. If you do it right you can have a multitude of links and SEO-happy activities happening in a very short amount of time investment, and low dollars as well. You might sign up for the free PRWeb Platform training with Mario Bonilla. That guy will walk you through the essentials, and you can ask him anything during the training. Let me know if you need more info, and I'll send you some PDF's on how to optimize your PRWeb release, and some stats on typical well-designed releases. best, Mark Alan Effinger
