No one is going to be able to post a magical set of rules or formula for you to make money online.

The key is to build and promote something you love and have a passion for, because their will be plenty of tough times to come and it is better to be working in something you like, than something you don't!

Now with that being said you already signed up for a affiliate program. I assume the next thing you need to to is build a website with great content (reason for visitors to be there) matching your affiliate products. Of course this is a little backass, backwards. I would have created a great website first with knowing I had affiliates or a partner to work with in the future. The next step would be to consider the 100's of marketing opportunities for it:

Organic SEO
PPC Campaigns
Pay Per Call
Radio, TV, Print Marketing
AdSense
etc, etc, etc

I agree with incrediblehelp.

If it has not cost you anything to sign up you might want to pause for a moment and consider if this is the best way to approach affiliate marketing.

Profit is made from visitors and visitors will be attracted by the content of your website. Consider what content you can develop and then think about what affiliate products are relevant, to this knowledge area, and might be sold to visitors.
