RSS now what

I been converting anything I have in a database of any interest to an RSS feed and dropping it anywhere it will be circulated.

RSS feed of articles, blogs etc.

What is some of the better outlets to publish the existance of my rss feeds to get them distributed as fast and widely as possible?

I have been going ape with Technorati all day today already. And I have a pretty huge ping list in my wordpress installations already:

Would that not slow you down considerably every time you post on your blog??

I wrote a list out for my own use a few months ago - and then posted it for clients (and website visitors) to know where to register a blog.

(I don't want to register everywhere, just the places it actually matters.) I really want feedback from others about the list - what to cut, what to add - if I have facts wrong - let me know.
