Default Paid Placement Listings?

I am considering a paid placement listing in a search engine. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

Default go with the big boys

I would stick with Google, Yahoo and MSN. Watch out for their "network of sites", they eat your money.

MSN adCenter is really sucking ass at this point. It just started not too long ago. Reports suck, interface blaaa and restrictive.

Google bids are more expensive but you'll get better quality.

You need to test them to see which one fits your company best. I'd open 1 of each with equal budget, keywords, then monitor and test.

keywords should be in the title and desc to maximize visibility. Be clear and direct with your offer. It's quality clicks not quantity ;-)

Top spot is not always the best. you need to play around with it.

cheers,

i think click fraud is less likely with yahoo! search marketing program then with google adwords. But to get the most of pay per click advertising is to use specific keywords that relate to the product rather then broad terms
