Default Targeted Traffic

Has anyone had experience with targeted traffic services?

I am exploring trying out a service like:
http://www.traffictaxi.net/

Are these effective? How do they work?

Thanks,

Rich

I would be interested in any replies as well. I have just started trying to target my AdSense ads with the following tags

<!– google_ad_section_start –>
<!– google_ad_section_end –>

have these tags worked out for anyone?

I've tried a few of these services. They're a waste of time and money. Some don't even deliver the "targeted" (read: junk) that they promise.

I've wondered the same.......if they really work, but never have because how can a list of 10,000 or whatever number they are promising, all be targeted prospects for my products?

It would seem after they perfected a list that was interested in my product they'd have a much, much more targeted and focused list, and would have to charge increasingly more.

So........nope......never tried 'em.

Yesterday I have read a very interested article about this topic:

http://www.adsenseoptimized.com/trafficcompany.html

Summary: do not waste your time + money with such scams. Traffic is a valuable resource, why should someone sell it to you for a cheaper price if they could use for themselves?

Well, before you start to write off such traffic "scams" why dont you just try one out. We offer a 50 free starter pack, to see how it is going. Please make sure you have inbuilt log analyser in your home page to see, from where and how long each visitor has stayed in your site. This way you can find out which referrer brought the best traffic.
We invite all webmasters with clean sites, to take a try out at www.trafficinstant.com

If it's not a scam, then why is there no up front disclosure on where the hits are coming from? It seems shady to me.

We provide traffic thru pop-unders and 404 redirections. We show your website in a full window to the visitor. If your site has that "Contents that catch attention " then they will stay, otherwise they quit.
But you can try for free, and see for yourself.
Thanks

Most of these services have not worked for me, but that doesn't mean you can't make them work.
A friend of mine made a few dollars per day through adsense using this kind of traffic.

If we could really choose where that traffic came from (the exact webistes or parked domains)maybe it would be more profitable for everyone.

Ok super25 I'll try out your services in a couple of weeks for a new website I'm building. We'll see.
