Default Wierdest thing....my Title and Desc slaughtered in SERP's

My buddies site is www.sunsource.ca

He wrote me an e-mail in panic this morning regarding the following.

If you type in Sunsource in Google he falls 5th.

Title = Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /mnt/web_z/d41 ..

Desc = Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in mnt/web_z/d41/s16/b024bbaf/www/store/nfoscomm/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 20 ...

I do SEO....i'm no sql programmer. What's going on?

Default

we have had the same problem before. Its probably down to where he is hosting the sql part of the site.

We currently use EasySpace.com for hosting and we can only have a maximum of 10 connections to the database at any one time or upgrade to have the database placed on its own server and pay a lot more.
When the 11th person connects they get a similar error message that the sites not available. If you refresh for about 5 minutes suddenly the site appears.

We went through our code and changed all the @mysql_pconnect statements to just @mysql_connect and also made sure that after each connection we added the line mysql_close($conn);

hope this helps
