What next?

Please could anyone advise what would be the next logical steps to get more traffic to my site at www.researchbank.co.uk

So far I have:-

-optimised keywords, ALT tags, descriptions etc as best as I know
-submitted manually to search engines
-carried out some automatic submission

What would anyone suggest to drive some more traffic my way, both free and paid routes considered.

The fast answer is AdWords, although I suspect you'll be in for some learning before you get the wording right and know which keyword phrases to use.
I seem to be forever promoting Perry Marshall -- and certainly not as one of his affiliates -- but take the time to understand his view (and knowledge) about how AdWords can do wonders for (almost) any business and you should be able to increase your traffic quite noticably.
