How to market and get traffic for our video site

Hey, we have a service called oob ( http://oob.uk.to ) where we take videos from the internet (only google video atm, more sources soon), and categorize them and allow people to comment on them and make favourites lists. We have a lot of new members only features and stuff coming up to encourage people to register with us.

Im going write a tell a friend script too, and we have an 'email this' for every video, which could bring in more traffic too.

We have submitted to all major search engines, just waiting to get crawled.

We have applied for adsense, our application is currently being reviewed.

What else can we do to get lots of traffic?

Theres some banners on our myspaces, forum sigs etc that bring in some people. but how do you go about getting the word out about this sort of site?

Any help would be great.

Press releases to appropriate media outlets might work. You'll need to be very different to stand out but it's worth a shot.

yup we have a membership feature and a weekly newsletter :)
