Default Linking to Other Sites

Hi everyone,

We just created some videos for new visitors to our website. It can be viewed using Windows Media Player 9 Series and RealOne Player. A codec program is also needed to scope the videos. I know these are free downloads, but I don't want to post links to other sites without permission.

My question is: If our visitors don't have these media players, are we able to post links to their downloads section?

I have already sent an email to RealOne Player regarding this. But I'm not too sure who to contact for Windows.

Thanks,
Jonny

Hi jonny,

Yeah, people link to downloads all the time.
If anything, you're promoting them anyhow, so they won't mind.

Default Thanks for your Input

Thanks cbp and cyanide!

I was just kinda worried about the rules governing links and such because I'm new to Internet Marketing.

I appreciate your prompt feedback. BTW, I love this WebForum stuff!

Best,
Jonny

no problem jonny,

The only thing that could be a concern is if your site has any derogatory info on it, such as porn, hate, etc.
Then these sites/companies might demand you to remove any linkage, oviously not wanting to be any part of such discriminating nature.
