Press release software...
Press releases, we all know about them...but how many of us actually do this? If you do, these questions are for you:
1. Can anybody tell if automatic press release software works?
2. If so, what do you recommend?
3. And when you submit to the software, what are some things to keep in mind?
Your input is GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!!

No software will never be better than human
But I tried Relase O matic you can found on my website, and it is Ok. I posted for free on Prweb you can check on my website also the press release done with software. I will say that it is useful for people who never post a press release but if you have an idea of what you want to write then you don't really need a software.

press release software
We used PRWizard and had nothing but SPAM complaints. The database of emails that the software sends the releases to are outdated and I had nothing but complaints from the email recipients, and no indication that my release was published anywhere.

Ok, so it seems to me that these submitters are junk. Any reason to refute that statement?

Press Releases
I have a basic Press Release Template available on my site. It's a free download. I also suggest looking into a friend of mine's site, Press Release Profits for more press release info. No one knows more about press releases then him. Ask him why, and tell him I sent you.

sbeco,
The site you recommended: http://www.onlinepressreleases.com
does not work with Opera 7.23
I don't think I will be doing business with them.

Off Line Press Release
Off Line Press Release
My brother told me that his home town, UK, (I've moved elsewhere), was mentioned in a USA newspaper and the number of US visitor to the town has increased because of this.
So Off Line Press Release may help.
Press releases like this tend to be a one-off.

Thanks for the input everyone. As I look at this post more and more, though, I'm getting more confused. One person says to try "this site" while another says don't. But, has anyone actually done these software press releases? I really don't want to get suggested to another person's website...it seems kind of "passing the buck". If there is anyone who has actually done these, let me know if it worked well for you. If it didn't, I would also be very interested to know why. Thanks in advance...
BTW, trafficproducer, Off Line Press Releases do work well...but it's so much more work. And, what I want to talk about can be seen much better in the online press release market.

I think you can spend a lot of time and energy looking for different press release outlets, but it seems the best value for time is PRWeb and maybe PRLeap. I submitted a recent press release to both and they were picked up by Google, Yahoo and more.

I always recommend manual submissions. It's most effective and gives you peace of mind. Takes more time...but worth the investment.

I'm thinking of doing my very first press release -- it is a tough mental step. I had someone who was going to help me with the writeup and provide feedback, but Internet contacts are a bit flaky at times it seems.
Does anyone know a resource that will "hold your hand" through your first press release? Or, should I just blast some crappy release out there through the sites mentioned in the post above?
