Suggestions finding web based email marketers?

Hello everyone!
I am hoping to find a good email sending marketer for our site:

We have a considerable list already. What we mainly need is the ability to manage our list and the sending out of emails regularly. Up to this point we have been using
Microsoft bCentral, but would like to upgrade.

Before making any recommendations, a couple of quick questions:

1. What level of consent do you have for your list:

* pre-existing business relationship (opt-out);

* single opt-in;

* single opt-in with a verification notice; or

* confirmed opt-in (aka double opt-in).

2. Can you provide full supporting data?

So in the case of confirmed opt-in as an example, the email address and any other data collected along with subscribe time and date; the remote IP used to subscribe; the remote URL used to subscribe; the confirm time and date; the remote IP used to confirm;

3. Roughly, what is the list size:

0 - 10,000;

10,000 - 50,000; or

above 50,000.

4. How often a month do you mail to your list on average:

* every day;

* once a week;

* twice a month; or

* monthly.

The answers to these questions will help determine what makes the most sense.

Hi

There are many good Web based systems these days.

Most have a free trial period.

I would try 2-3 of them out.

One thing that I would watch for is the support - some of the services don't have much in the way of support.

I personally always like it when I can call and speak to a human any time of the day and night - even if it does mean paying slightly more. Particularly with email campaigns, sometimes when you need assistance with them you need it NOW!
