Default Even a freebie is a tough sell.

In order to promote a great UK band called Riley were giving away CD’s online along with tickets to see them and free tee shirts.
We need only an email and return address to post the stuff.
Now I am no marketing expert and I know it would only interest music folk, but I was wondering if my approach is wrong.
Out of several thousand viewings the draw page has only had about 12 entrants.
Any tips would be appreciated.
This is the draw page.

Thanks in advance.

Default

- There are typos in the copy
- There is very little copy
- There are practically no details, no reasons for anyone to want to win - let alone risk giving their private info to you.
- There are no contest/draw rules, terms or otherwise
- There is no information/privacy policy

In short: Even free things need to be "sold". Create compelling copy with plenty of details, just like if you were trying to sell something.

Default Thank you Perceptions

That's a professional answer, I'm in your debt and will revamp the page! You are right!
Thank you again for taking the trouble.
