Looking for a e-mail marketing system

WE are looking for a web based open source/paid Php email system that wil ldistribut and track email marketing campaigns. We want a very reliable one with good support. Our goal is to customize it and use it, or buy one that has all the featrures we want to use for our clients email marekting campaigns.

Any suggestions?

Good luck finding an open source with good support. I usually use Sonic Mailer but that costs about $80 or so.

Have a look at my tool. It has many modules: one of them manages emails and autoresponders.

Plus, the tool has more modules to work with.

i haven't heard of any free ones but i use www.constantcontact.com and there free for the first 50 subscribers you have after that its about 15 bucks a month, check them out.

Have you checked out Web Hosting, Free Web Hosting and Web Tools from Bravenet.com. ? I'm not affiliated with them but I have used them and they do basically what it is you and your company is looking for. Please let me know.

We use 12ALL from Active Campaign in just the way you are describing. Very good product.
