Default The new and innovative pay per click model...

Good day to you,
As you may have noticed, more and more websites are popping up using technologies such as the ones provided by VibrantMedia or Click4usa. The concept is simple, a script is installed on the page, and certain keywords are highlighted allowing users to hover the keyword and see a little window with some advertisement.

I beleive that this can be the next big thing after Google Adsense as it is directly implemented in content and more particularly on specific words. What is your opinion on this new model that seems to be becoming more and more popular online ? Vibrant Media call it Intellitext, click4usa call it positext, but is there a new term for this type of adverts ?

What is interesting to see is that vibrant media pull some results directly from Overture on top of their very own advertisers! Now imagine there was some kind of system which allowed you to specify if you wanted an affiliate link or a PPC link ! Am I dreaming here or does this kind of script/service exist !

I truly fascinated by this type of concept and I truly beleive this can be the next big thing !

What do you think ?

Sam

Guess I'd have to see it in action. As bad as it may be, it seems like the most effective advertisement in the ones that stand out, more or less get in your face.

If I have to hover over the advertisement to see it, I'm pretty sure I never would.
