If we knew the answer to that we would all do it :-)

I would suggest adding an ALT tag to your header though.

KW Density isn't a metric that's used by the SEs. Instead, they use what's called term weight - it's a measurement of the importance of the given word or phrase in a document compared to the pages in the rest of their index.

The best way to make sure that the term you're targeting has the highest possible term weight is simply to make sure that it is the most repeated term of its word-length. So, for example if you wanted "car rentals" to be the target term on a page, you would simply make sure that "car rentals" occurs more on that page than any other unique two-word phrase. Even 1 more time than the next does it.

I'd recommend writing naturally, then double checking using this rule and adding enough instances to make it the most frequent.

Overall I would try to have more text on taht first page. I think that you could explain more about your service and why it is superior then competitors and in the process very naturally add the phrase "rental car". Also, if "rental car" is your targeted keyword make sure that is what appears first in the meta tags keywords (or close to first). Your title is also a bit long remeber bots give up on titles after I believe 85 Characters (anyone?) Dont forget to localize I assume you are trying to target traffic only in your city/country. It would be easier to win traffic under "Romania rental car". you could also just make another landing page for that keyword. Just thoughts.

Is it wise to constantly change your text on the main page to "try" and achieve both density and prominence?
Will this have an adverse effect on your search engine placement?
