Excuse me Mr. Moderator:
You using the top 10 analyzer on IBP for those?
I finally did my own hobby sites, since I never have time for me :D
Only thing I learned is I need to be in DMOZ to be page one apparently, as all 10 ahead of us for the major terms are in the DMOZ, everything else was right on target according to the report.
Not to hijack you thread, but the Editor who included this top ranking site in the DMOZ
renttoownrealestate.com
Is probally the same name that is on the WHOIS information as owning it.
That may be the spammiest doorway page I have ever seen. The word homes appears 791 times on that page.
And phenomenal content like
Code:
in the vicinity of, close to, north, east, south, southern, northern, eastern, west, western, midwest, central abaco abilene, acapulco, ak al alabama albany, alberta albuquerque, amarillo, amsterdam, anaheim, anchorage, angeles, anguilla annapolis, antigua antilles antonio, antwerp, ar area, arizona aruba asheville, aspen, athens, atlanta, atlantic augustine,
- End rant

Hoptoo, yes the top ten, and I agree, some of the results are simply amazing, I have seen one site top on big G with its keywords repeated 50 times. But it did sod all in Yahoo. Lesson, do not optimise for one SE, go for page titles. Hoptoo, I need a hand in SEO Announcement LOL

Yes, title is getting more weight than many seem to think. Something else I've experienced is to ensure that the <title> is the FIRST element after <head> ... seems to be helping loads compared to any other single tweak method to date for me ...

great service!
Hello ctabuk,
Like all the others already mentioned, great service!
Been reading here for 2 years, and think I learned a lot, so thank you all for this great forum.
Dont like to ask if I cant give back, but this time I just couldnt resist.
Could you also take a look at my website?
(only if you have time for it)
Been working on it for a year and a half now.
This is it: www.amsterdamcentralbedandbreakfast.nl
(main keywords: amsterdam, bed, breakfast, apartment)
Made it myself and it is also my only way of promoting my business, so completely depending on it. At the same time this website is the first I ever made, and for the SEO in there, I learned everything here, curious where it got me sofar :-)
(my email address can be found on the site, as I can not post it here)
Thanks a lot, in advance!
Mark.

My New Site
Hi:
I'm new to this forum and thought it would be good to take you up on your offer.
I'm working on a new site for sales reps. My vision is to create a sales rep community that offers support, advice, tools, communication, etc., to help sales people become more successful. It's in the infancy stage right now and there's not much content in it. I've been working on layout and the back administration of how it all works.
I am especially interested in any advice that would keep me from building something that doesn't work or that would keep the site from being indexed or banned.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
I'm looking forward to your replies.

Hi, I'm a newbie. Been reading all the different threads posted, this one is great. This is a very generous offer and a great service to people like me.
Please check out my site for me
http://www.gleearchitects.com.
I did it myself for my own business. I only know how to use notepad for the html coding and use no other software.
I appreciate any advice you can give me. Google shows no back links but MSN and Yahoo do. The only way my web site shows up on Google using my keywords is through directories linking to me. There are tons of architecure firms out there (older and more established) and so it's difficult to even show up. Oh, my web site went up around March.
Thanks in advance.
You can e-mail me at: tech@gleearchitects.com

Dear ctabuk:
I would really love to have your thoughts and suggestions about my web site (here) as I'm competing with difficult keywords.
I'd already worked meta tags and titles a bit (Premium template section and 2/3 more pages) after to some excelent suggestions from wrmineo.
I don't know much about SEO, but I'm trying to put in practice what I do know. At this point I wanted to have the maximum opinions and suggestions possible and reading along this thread from the start it's visible you're one of guys who know more about the subject.
Thanks in advance

Dear CTABUK
I would like you to have a look at yet another website. That's my first one www.romanticadultgifts.com and I would like to hear/read your findings/recommendations.
I am an absolute novice, though I have done a lots of reading about SEO/SEM, and starting now to optimise my site (working on links in/out-bound).
Thanks for taking the time
Cheers Jutta
