Default Press Releases

Has anyone here had any experience with press release software or online submission? Any recommendations or strategies?

Thanks,
Andrew

Press releases can definitely help your site get more publicity--and more publicity usually equals more on-topic links to your website.

Write a press release that includes your keywords as well as links to different pages in your site. And once it's ready, list it on PRWeb as well as the other PR distribution sites--depending on your budget, you can get it distributed to hundreds or thousands of media outlets worldwide.

While there is no substitute for contacting media pro's directly, submitting your release through sites like PRWeb does help gain exposure and in many cases positively impacts search marketing. If you use more than one distribution source, make sure to make modifications not only to the title (seperate titles if possible) but also to the body of the release. Always track individual releases and of course, use keywords in both title and content and use PR as a marketing approach only when you have something truly significant to say or announce.

Default Thanks a lot!

Thanks everyone for sharing your helpful ideas. Espcially Ken's link to his case study - that is great and I'll keep you updated with the success of my PR campaigns.

All the best,
Andrew

andrewtcrane,

Please do that. We will be submitting several shortly. Some at the $180 contribution level, which I will also report on!

Default Press release

Is it possible to put an article as press release or it has to be just information provided.

Or is there a place for articles released as press release? Is there a thing like that?

Thank you
Joseph
